"Practicing Cheerleading Moves"

Dearborn, practice cheerleading moves over the weekend before trying out on
Monday and Tuesday for a cheerleading team at their school, Lowrey School in
Dearborn, in Alhag's backyard, off Jonathon Street in Dearborn, Michigan,
Friday, September 10, 2004. 'We love to dance, we dance all of the time.
Sometimes we dance to American music and sometimes we dance to Arabic music,'
said Omar. Omar goes to seventh grade and Alhag goes to eighth grade at Lowrey
School in Dearborn. Omar and Alhag are Muslim and if they make the
cheerleading squad they will be able to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants
during their performances.
