An injured Taliban soldier pleads for his life after being captured by Northern Alliance soldiers during their advance toward Kabul, Afghanistan. A small number of hard-line Taliban soldiers continued to try to fight back the Northern Alliance but were overwhelmed by the speed of the advance.
