A Taliban soldier, who had been laying motionless in a ditch in attempt to hide himself from the advancing Northern Alliance, is dragged to his feet as another Taliban soldier, killed moments earlier, lays dead on the road. The Northern Alliance was making a quick advance toward Kabul from this pivotal front line, suffering few casualties.
