New adoptive parents queue to hand over various fees totalling 3,700 US$, for their newly adopted baby girls, to Government officials in Changsha, Hunan, China. Over 10,000 babies, all girls or disabled boys, were adopted from China annually in 2004. Healthy boys are considered too valueable for adoption.
