“Ever since I could grow a beard I have had one. I changed my style from time to time but mostly I had a full beard or sideburns. Back in 2009 I was working together with some friends at Roskilde Festival. I had a smaller beard back then and we got to talk about how long it would become, if I just let I grew until the next festival. So I did. And it became BIG. After that it sort of became my identity. Sometimes people forget that there is a reel man behind the beard. Also I have problems when I´m making food. The beard gets stock in the kitchen drawers and twice I have put it on fire by accident. But it is all worth it. I love my beard and it will always be a part of me. I will go to the grave with it.”
