Senegal was not so long ago a paradise for homosexuals. They were regarded as fun and entertaining to the locals. The turnaround came after a newspaper published a picture of two men who were married. It caused riots and lynch atmosphere against homosexuals. Djamil and his boyfriend Karim must sneak with their relationship. Karim's family do not know that their son is gay. If it came out, they would not like to see him again.
