"To some, Gaza resembles a vast open-air prison, where
the slim hopes of a better future for Palestinians after IsraelŐs withdrawal
from its settlements have been cruelly extinguished. Instead, the violence
continues and with it the economic stranglehold on the territory. And now,
with the election of Hamas, Gaza is an arena for new hostilities, with
Palestinian fighting Palestinian.
