"21st Birthday"
(March 19, 2004) On the morning of his 21st birthday, Jonathan Swain
wipes his face before eating breakfast and taking
his morning dose of AIDS medication while his girlfriend Amber Padigimus
takes care of her son, Stanley on March 19, 2004. Jonathan received the HIV virus from a blood transfusion when he was a child and has survived for 21
years with AIDS. Jonathan lives with his girlfriend and her two children,
Alicia, 5, and Stanley, 4, Padigimus, in Vernal, Utah.
