"Ralph" May 19, 2004, Fairfax, Virginia, USA: Ralph Nader, consumer advocate and constant thorn-in-the-side of Democrats, spoke to a sparse crowd at George Mason University, trying to bolster an effort to obtain enough signatures (15,000) to get on the Virginia ballot in November. Nader is running as an Independent Party candidate for President in 2004, stating repeatedly that his candidacy will not take votes away from Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry, but instead take votes from Republican President George W. Bush.
