"WATER IS PERSONAL"
MEGMA, NEPAL, 2 JANUARY 2007: An old women fetches water from a reservoir created by harvesting the water vapour contained in fog high in the mountains of Nepal near the Indian border with Nepal. The fog passes through a netting system on the mountain top. Upon contact it condenses into water vapour droplets. Gravity leads it down the net and into pipes which channel it to the village water tank. As a result of the system there is now sufficent water for a school in the village and the local children no longer have to leave for their education.
