"The CIA's Forgotten Soldiers"

2 of 12

Nou Chue Xiong, 68, a former soldier that served with the colonial French and later fought for the CIA from 1962 until 1975 during the Secret War, breaks down in tears and pleads for help from the first Westerners to visit his isolated band of ethnic Hmong people hiding in the jungle in the Vientiane province of Laos on 27 November 2007. Thousands of Hmongs who fought or collaborated with the American CIA until communists took over the country in 1975 remain living hidden in the jungles of Laos
