A truckdriver sleeps in one of the boarding houses in the alleyways in Daulatdia brothel on the banks of the Padma River. Trucks carrying rice, jute, sugar cane and fish from the west and south-west of the country queue here for two or three days at a time to cross the river for the drive to the capital, Dhaka.
