Family members of Kathy Ann Stewart, who was murdered by a stray bullet while laying in bed talking to her fiance, carry the casket she will be buried in after a funeral service in her memory. Stewart lived in the William Penn housing projects in Chester, which is notorious for being one of the most violent projects in the city. According to residents, prior to this incident over a half dozen people were shot in the last few months. The youth that had committed the murder were eventually found, because members of the community were so outraged they spoke out.
