"UNTITLED"

The Deepwater Horizon oil platform burning after a massive explosion in the Gulf of Mexico, off the southeast tip of Louisiana. The April 20th, 2010 explosion killed 11 people and caused the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history.

These photographs of the burning rig were provided by a photographer on a nearby boat who asked not to be identified.
