Dan Habib, photo editor, The Concord Monitor. Habib has been the photo editor of The Concord Monitor since 1995, where he was a staff photographer from 1988-1992. He has photographed and writen dozens of documentary stories and has covered four New Hampshire Presidential Primary campaigns. Between his stints at the Monitor, Habib freelanced through the Impact Visuals photo agency and created a multi-media documentary project titled "Teen Sexuality in a Culture of Confusion." He was named New Hampshire Photographer of the Year six times and was one of 12 photojournalists from around the world to participate in the 1995 World Press Photo Masterclass in Amsterdam. He has won numerous photography and picture editing POY awards and has taught at the Poynter Institute, the Atlanta Seminar and NPPA's Northern Short Course. Habib lives in Concord with his wife Betsy McNamara and sons Isaiah, 3, and Samuel, a newborn.
