Having dieted for the previous year to lose over 200 pounds, Hector Garcia Jr. had to stay away from the plentiful assortment of Thanksgiving desserts in 2011. "I can't stop cold turkey. An alcoholic stops alcohol completely. A drug addict, the same thing. I can never stop eating. I always have a little bit of that thing that I'm addicted to. That's what makes it so hard," Hector said.
