Fighting the dark.
Elisabeth Elg was born without eyes. She is a single mother living in a suburb to Stockholm.
Every year bureaucrats from the local municipality show up to “evaluate” her needs – meaning finding a way to cut down her help. She calls it “The War”.
She is very worried but tries not to show it to her daughter. It is a constant fight agains isolation from the world. A battle she cannot loose, for her daughters sake.
Earlier she had 60 hours of assistance with getting out of the house, shopping, going on play dates etcetera. Today that help has been cut down to 13 hours.
