"Abandoned" Child Line worker Saroja Cripson talks with Hyderabad Police constable Mohammed Janghir as she fills out the paper work for a young girl Constable Janghir found abandoned in the slums near the train station. The girl (no name or age) was taken to Shishu Vihar, the state-run orphanage facility and eventually to the hospital for treatment of sores and wounds on the backs of her legs. Child line is a toll free hotline where people can call in to report abandoned children, street kids and children in need. They receive about ten thousand calls per month.
