Nancy Andrews, staff photographer, The Washington Post. For the past 10 years, Andrews has made pictures for The Washington Post. She has published two books, "Family: A Portrait of Gay and Lesbian America" and "Partial View: A Personal Look Inside Alzheimer's." Andrews has participated in group exhibitions and has had several solo shows, the largest being at The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. She has won numerous photojournalism awards including POY's Newspaper Photographer of the Year in 1998 and Northern Photographer of the Year in 1996. Andrews has received more than 75 awards from the White House News Photographers Association, the Virginia Press Association and Pictures of the Year.
